Abstract:
In recent years, it's seen that lessons which are taught with exercises based brain-based-learning useful and effective to provide permanent knowledge and gain-skills. For this-reason, it's highly important to apply this approach approved by its efficiency in education activities. This study aims to identify the views of teachers about brain-based-learning education principles, their brain-dominance and which education principle they use. The participants are 264 primary school teachers who are working local schools in Gaziantep. The data gathered using the teachers' views about brain-based-learning principles and measurement tool for brain-dominance. Results indicate there is statistically-significant difference between male-female teachers in terms of the total-points which they get from the survey about brain-based-learning. No statistically-significant difference are observed between total-points from the views of teachers about brain-based-learning principles according their knowledge about brain based learning, general economic conditions of area where they work, their professional seniority and brain-dominance-points.
