Abstract:
Anxiety, expressed as fears of unknown origin; It is a feeling that affects the individual's social relations, activities, learning, in short, the daily experience and often makes the individual uneasy. This feeling affects the future view of the individual positively or negatively when they continue their education or graduate. Decisions to make about their future, choice of work, friendships they have made, fear of not being able to work and various responsibilities can be seen as some of the factors that constitute anxiety. In this study, it was aimed to determine the anxiety levels of the vocational college graduates and students and the factors affecting these anxiety levels. Although there are studies about anxiety in students or alumni studying at universities, there is no study that deals with two situations for vocational school students who are both graduate and undergraduate. This is important in terms of demonstrating the importance of work and preparing the groundwork for similar work with additional variables. For this reason, the findings obtained by studying Vocational School graduates and students 'anxiety levels in terms of gender, type of education, satisfaction with the department they chose when starting to the vocational high school, and participants' graduation / student status variables were analyzed statistically. As a result, while the level of anxiety and the anxiety of the students graduated from Vocational School did not differ according to gender and learning style variables, it was found that there was a meaningful difference in terms of being satisfied with the department and being graduated / student.
