Abstract:
With the development of new communication technologies, the scope of these applications has changed and the use of social media tools has increased in addition to traditional methods. Instagram is a relatively new form of communication where users can easily share their updates by taking photos and tweaking them using filters. The platform, which has been highly appreciated by users since October 2010, is also subject to many scientific researches at the same time. The vast majority of these researches focus on the frequency and causes of sharing with user psychology. In this study, content analysis on Instagram shares have been focused on user types and photo categories on Instagram.
