Abstract:
Istanbul is the natural financial center of Turkey. And Turkey, advancing towards EU membership, with its regional location, has a significant economic size for the East, Central Asia, North Africa and Eastern Europe Regions. Istanbul has a great potential as an important center for the collection of financial resources and directing them to these regions. In this study, we analyse if Turkey can be a financial center in the near future.
