Abstract:
Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic is an autonomous state within the borders of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic has a rich history. There are numerous archaeological settlements in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. A group of them belong to the Late Bronze Age. Archaeological findings from the Late Bronze Age settlements are of scientific importance in learning our ancient history, material and spiritual culture. We can obtain important scientific results during their study. A group of such archaeological finds are clay seals from the Late Bronze Age. Since there has been no systematic research on their properties and spreading, the subject has been examined by us. The field research is carried out through the investigations in library and archaeological findings found in the National History Museum of Azerbaijan. In the study, miniature versions of ceramic vessels made in clay found from Early Bronze Age settlements of Nakhchivan were systematized, their forms, properties, use, spreading areas, etc. have been investigated. During the research, it was determined that these archaeological findings were not made by chance, but that they had a logical meaning. Like all regions of the world, in Nakhchivan, the seals were not developed collectively during the II-I millennium BC and were made in different forms according to the order. These archaeological findings are one of the archaeological findings proving the formation of class society and state in Nakhchivan in the II millennium BC. They used them to provide the security and identify the identity. The drawnings on the seals are connected with the religious-ideological views of the people. The similarity with local cultures as well as other cultures in their form and patterns proves that there is a similarity in the religious-ideological views of different-regional people and intercultural relations.
