Abstract:
Hagia Sophia, from 4th century onwards has been the most interesting building in İstanbul. Hagia Sophia Church, which we aim to give its architectural and historical qualifications, keeps going to give meaning on religious and symbolic quality to the city. The building which once built as a church then converted to a mosque and finally organized as a museum on the hand tries to cope with the static problems while on the other hand still has symbolic meaning.
