Abstract:
The innovation is important to increase the competitiveness of countries. Therefore, a paradigm based on the innovation capability development has become widespread. Turkey also wants to improve science and technology innovation capacity. Turkey aims to provide economic and social benefits via innovation. But Turkey still has a modest innovative performance. Turkey is considered to be in the period of transition from the efficiency driven economies to innovation driven economies in global competitiveness report. The number of innovative enterprises has decreased in Turkey in the last three years. This study is related to the performance of innovative and the national innovation strategy.
